Professional Development Offerings
Lindsey provides a wide range of professional development offerings. One option includes onsite, customized workshops to launch a text study and implementation of strategies found in Comprehension and ELLs: 25 Oral Reading Strategies That Cross Proficiency Levels, Supporting English Learners in the Reading Workshop, and her new book What Are the REST of my Kids Doing? Fostering Independence in the K-2 Reading Workshop. Additional options include on-going professional development residency throughout the academic year customized to draw on the specific strengths and opportunities for growth. The on-going professional development can incorporate any combination of seminar presentations, classroom based-demonstrations, observations and coaching, and online/Skype support sessions.
